Cousins

Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend at my Grandma's house. Aunts, uncles, and lots of cousin were there. Havalah hit it off with Alice, who is a year younger than her, and it was so cute to watch them play together. :D

Thanksgiving Feast

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Our family will have Thanksgiving dinner at our house today, and then tomorrow we'll leave for a celebration that lasts all weekend long. Today's menu includes;

• Turkey
• Ham
• Rolls
• Sweet potatoes
• Mashed potatoes
• Green bean casserole
• Seven layer salad
• Artichoke dip

And then dessert (which there is a lot of! probably some of it we will take to the weekend celebration);

• Cranberry Salad
• Apple pie cookies
• German Chocolate Cake
• Pumpkin pies
• Pumpkin roll
• Peppermint, red hot, and cinnamon popcorn

Last year, Mara Unni wrote some guest posts while Qix and I were on vacation. Ever since that time, we have wanted to make her a blog author, but it was kind of complicated for us not-tech-savvy people, so we put it off. But as of today, she is officially an author on Qixi and Moxie!! Yay! Welcome to the blogosphere, Unni!

Ear Warmers

Here's a tutorial on how to make ear warmers. They look super cute and very easy to make. I was going to make some right away but then realized I didn't have the right material for it. Oh well, Qix and I will just have to set aside a day to find some material and then (try to) tap into our creativeness and hopefully come out with something adorable!
